JOB OVERVIEW

The Processor Concentrator G3 role supports efficient and safe processing operations at the Mogalakwena North Concentrator. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating equipment, monitoring processes, identifying abnormalities, and maintaining high safety and housekeeping standards in a demanding mining environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• React promptly to abnormal process conditions and report to the Process Supervisor

• Perform routine inspections and assist with equipment start-up and shutdown

• Support team members during operational and breakdown activities

• Complete safety inspections and participate in safety meetings

• Maintain accurate data logging and operational reporting

• Identify and report hazards, risks, and process deviations proactively

• Ensure effective two-way communication within the team

• Operate communication equipment as required

• Maintain good housekeeping and comply with safety standards at all times

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

• Grade 12 / NQF Level 4

• Cadet Learnership (advantageous)

Experience

• Exposure to processing or mining operations is beneficial

• Ability to work in surface and open-pit environments

Skills

• Good written and verbal communication skills in English

• Strong safety awareness and attention to detail

• Ability to follow instructions and standard operating procedures

• Team-oriented with a proactive work ethic

Additional Requirements:

• South African citizen

• No criminal record

• Willingness to work shifts and in dusty environments

• Must pass relevant psychometric assessments

• Valid South African driver’s licence (advantageous)
