About the Role

We are seeking a Production Repair & Maintenance Technician to support the seamless operation of our production site’s mechanical and electronic equipment. This role is crucial in ensuring that machines operate efficiently, safely, and in compliance with all regulations. You will work closely with production, safety, and supplier teams while maintaining top operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintenance Planning & Execution: Design and execute preventive and corrective maintenance programs to maximize uptime.

  • Equipment Installation: Participate in the commissioning and installation of new production machinery, ensuring compliance with local safety standards.

  • Repairs & Troubleshooting: Perform repairs on mechanical and electronic equipment, tools, and instruments.

  • Safety Coordination: Collaborate with Health and Safety teams to ensure machine compliance with legal and internal safety standards.

  • Production Liaison: Coordinate maintenance with production schedules to minimize disruption.

  • Supplier & Contract Management: Oversee equipment supplier contracts and ensure service levels meet requirements.

  • Inventory Management: Track and manage equipment, parts, and consumables inventory.

  • Audit Support: Compile and maintain documentation for internal and external audits, including ISO certifications.

  • Reporting: Maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and produce detailed monthly maintenance reports.


Candidate Profile

  • Education & Experience:

    • Basic qualifications in electrical, mechanical, or automation engineering.

    • Prior experience with industrial maintenance practices and tools.

  • Technical Skills:

    • Basic knowledge of automation and electrical systems.

    • Hands-on experience with production machinery is preferred.

  • Soft Skills:

    • Team player with a proactive and safety-conscious mindset.

    • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.

    • Ability to work independently under supervision.
