As a Production Operator, you will play a key role in the efficient operation and maintenance of our processing equipment while upholding quality and safety standards.

🛠 Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor processing equipment in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

• Record key production data such as volumes, yields, downtime, and utility usage accurately and consistently.

• Support initiatives to enhance plant efficiency and reduce operating costs.

• Participate in cleaning and sanitation procedures, including Clean-in-Place (CIP) processes.

• Conduct daily checks to ensure product integrity and raw material compliance with QA standards.

• Interpret QA results and respond proactively to maintain product quality.

• Assist with minor maintenance, perform preventative activities, and report equipment faults.

• Collaborate with the maintenance team for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.

• Maintain a high level of hygiene and operational discipline throughout the production area.

✅ Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 / NQF Level 4

• Successful completion of diagnostic competency assessment

• 2–5 years of experience in a fast-paced food production or FMCG environment

• Business English proficiency

• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays

Added Advantages:

• Prior machine operation experience in an IWS GBM environment

• Tertiary qualification in Operations or Quality Management
