FlySafair is seeking a Production Planner to join our operations team. The role ensures efficient aircraft planning, scheduling, and compliance with aviation regulations while liaising with maintenance and operational teams to optimise aircraft availability. 🛠️ Key Responsibilities

📌 Compliance & Regulatory Oversight

• Maintain knowledge of relevant aviation regulations, organisational policies, and operational guidelines

• Ensure adherence to statutory regulations and internal organisational standards

• Report non-compliance and implement corrective actions promptly

📌 Planning & Coordination

• Liaise with the Maintenance Planning team regarding aircraft scheduling and required downtime

• Analyse stakeholder requirements and identify opportunities for process improvements

• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operational execution

📌 Operational Efficiency

• Monitor and maintain aircraft documentation (MPD, Boeing, and OEM documentation)

• Ensure accurate use of technical maintenance systems (MRO software)

• Track and report on aircraft readiness, scheduling changes, and maintenance outcomes

🎓 Minimum Requirements

• Education: Grade 12 or equivalent (Essential)

• Technical Diploma: Advantageous

• Technical Trade in Aviation: Advantageous

• Project Planning / Management Qualification: Advantageous

🛠️ Experience

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in aircraft planning, production control, or aircraft maintenance (Essential)

• Experience in project planning and management (Advantageous)

• Experience with technical maintenance systems (MRO software) (Advantageous)

• Knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

• Working knowledge of aviation regulations
