Mediclinic Brits is seeking a Professional Nurse who can deliver safe, evidence-based, and compassionate patient care. Working within a collaborative, multi-disciplinary medical team, this role requires a nurse who can lead with confidence, ensure clinical excellence, and maintain the highest standards of patient safety and documentation.

🩺 Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care according to professional Scope of Practice standards.

• Work collaboratively with doctors and allied health professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

• Identify, manage, and reduce clinical risks while maintaining a safe environment.

• Provide detailed, accurate documentation of all nursing interventions.

🎓 Required Qualifications

Essential Education

• Diploma leading to registration as a General Nurse OR

• 4-year Nursing Diploma/Bachelor of Nursing

Desired Education

• Postgraduate Advanced Diploma in Midwifery

• Postgraduate Diploma in a specialist field such as:

  • Critical Care

  • Emergency Care

  • Peri-operative Nursing

• Basic Life Support (ACLS / ATLS / PALS for specialised units)

• Microsoft Office proficiency

• Understanding of nursing processes, documentation, and patient assessments

• Sound knowledge of pharmacology

• Familiarity with relevant nursing legislation
