💡 Main Purpose of the Job
To deliver safe, comprehensive, and quality nursing care in line with professional standards and the Scope of Practice.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
✔ Deliver high-quality nursing care in collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team.
✔ Identify, prevent, and manage risks to ensure patient safety.
✔ Facilitate a positive patient experience in a supportive environment.
✔ Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of all nursing interventions.
✔ Foster a learning environment that enhances staff competence.
✔ Ensure accurate stock and equipment management.
📚 Required Education & Experience
Essential:
✔ Degree/Diploma in General Nursing
Desired:
✔ Midwifery qualification
✔ Postgraduate certificate/diploma in Paediatrics or related specialty
Experience:
✔ No minimum experience required.
✔ 1 year of post-graduate experience before placement in a specialised unit is an advantage.
🔬 Required Skills & Knowledge
✔ Basic Life Support (ACLS, ATLS, PALS for specialised wards)
✔ Computer literacy (Microsoft Office)
✔ Ability to develop and modify nursing care plans
✔ Strong infection prevention and control knowledge
✔ Proficiency in nursing processes and procedures
✔ Excellent patient assessment and record-keeping skills
✔ Knowledge of pharmacology and relevant nursing legislation
✔ Risk identification and scientific nursing principles
