Job Overview
Mediclinic Kloof is seeking a dedicated Professional Nurse to provide safe, comprehensive, and quality nursing care within a multi-disciplinary team.
The successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating patient care, ensuring compliance with nursing standards, and contributing to a positive patient experience while maintaining accurate clinical records.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care in collaboration with a multi-professional team
- Identify, prevent, and manage patient risks to ensure safety
- Maintain accurate and detailed nursing records
- Support and create a positive patient care environment
- Develop and implement nursing care plans
- Ensure proper management of medical stock and equipment
- Promote a learning environment to enhance staff competency
Qualifications
Education:
- Diploma in General Nursing or a 4-year Nursing Diploma/Degree
- Postgraduate qualifications in specialised nursing fields (advantageous)
Experience:
- No minimum experience required (entry-level opportunity)
Skills:
- Basic Life Support certification (ACLS, ATLS, PALS advantageous)
- Knowledge of nursing procedures and patient care practices
- Infection prevention and control knowledge
- Strong patient assessment and record-keeping skills
- Understanding of relevant nursing legislation
- Computer literacy (Microsoft Office)
