About the Role:
As a Programming Lecturer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lectures and academic support in Information Technology-related modules. Your role is pivotal in equipping students with the critical programming and IT skills needed in today’s fast-evolving digital world. You will also play a key part in academic administration, ensuring excellence across teaching, learning, and student engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lecturing: Delivering engaging and informative lectures in the following modules:

  • Programming in Python

  • Software and Security Engineering

  • IT Project Management

• Academic Support: Preparing comprehensive notes and additional study materials to enhance learning.

• Assessment: Setting and marking assessments fairly and on time.

• Student Support: Monitoring and managing at-risk students to help them succeed academically.

• Administration: Handling general departmental administrative tasks efficiently.

• Quality Assurance: Ensuring that academic activities meet Eduvos’s quality standards.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum Qualifications:

  • BSc Honours in Computer Science OR

  • BCom Honours in Information Systems.

• Experience:

  • 1 to 2 years of relevant lecturing or teaching experience.

  • Knowledge of higher education practices and processes.

  • Relevant research experience is advantageous.
