As we continue to expand, we are looking for talented and motivated individuals to join our diverse team. We are hiring a Project Accountant on a fixed-term contract (FTC) basis for a period of 3 months within our Group Services operating unit. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a reputable organization while developing your skills in the finance field.
Key Responsibilities 📝
In this role, you will be an integral part of our Group Finance team, focusing on corporate accounting, audits, and assisting in the preparation of the Group Annual Financial Statements (AFS). Your specific duties will include:
✅ Audit Support: Assist with the RCL Foods audit, ensuring smooth processes and documentation.
✅ Financial Statement Preparation: Contribute to the preparation of financial statements for small and dormant companies.
✅ Consolidated Group Financials: Support in the preparation of consolidated Group financial statements, including completing specific allocated notes.
✅ Technical Research: Conduct technical research and prepare accounting memorandums.
✅ Ad Hoc Finance Tasks: Assist with various other ad hoc finance responsibilities as required by the team.
Minimum Requirements 📋
To succeed in this role, the following qualifications and skills are essential:
- Newly Qualified CA(SA) or similar qualifications.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Previous experience with consolidations and preparation of Group AFS.
- A solid understanding of auditing consolidations and financial statement disclosures.
