🛠️ Job Purpose

As a Project & Maintenance Engineer, you will lead the design, execution, and monitoring of infrastructure projects across depots, commercial customer installations, and service stations. This role is central to ensuring compliance, safety, efficiency, and alignment with TotalEnergies’ global and local engineering standards.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

Project Engineering

Conduct feasibility studies and prepare drawings, specifications, and cost estimations.
Secure necessary permits and municipal approvals.
Supervise design development with draughtsmen and consultants.
Manage supplier and contractor negotiations in collaboration with procurement.
Monitor timelines and budgets to ensure successful project delivery.
Report on progress and manage change requests and documentation.

Construction Oversight

Plan, organise, and lead field construction and commissioning activities.
Ensure project compliance with local legislation and company standards.
Control documentation, asset registration, and monthly reporting.

Maintenance Management

Execute preventive maintenance schedules and urgent repair works.
Audit contractor performance and quality.
Ensure alignment with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and HSEQ standards.
Identify and plan for equipment upgrades and cost reduction opportunities.

Compliance & Safety

Lead initiatives aligned with HSE policies and legal requirements.
Train site operators on proper equipment use and safety protocols.
Address audit findings and ensure timely corrective actions.

Collaboration & Customer Relations

Partner with cross-functional teams including procurement, HSEQ, and clients.
Support business performance reviews and contribute to budget planning.
Manage site decommissions and environmental remediation.

✅ Candidate Profile

Education & Experience

B.Sc. or B.Tech in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering (or relevant equivalent experience).
3 to 7 years’ experience in engineering project management from initiation to completion.

Skills & Competencies

Strong project management and technical skills.
Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities.
Autonomy, adaptability, and team-oriented mindset.
Proficient in English and familiar with technical documentation and reporting.
Knowledge of local regulations, safety standards, and maintenance best practices.
