This role offers a unique opportunity to manage technical projects, oversee engineering construction initiatives, and support critical maintenance functions across service stations, depots, and commercial installations.
🔍 Key Responsibilities:
As a Project & Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for:
📌 Project Management & Engineering
✔️ Conducting feasibility studies and preparing technical documentation
✔️ Overseeing construction projects for depots and service stations
✔️ Submitting project documents for local and national authority approvals
✔️ Managing equipment procurement in collaboration with the purchasing team
✔️ Ensuring compliance with local laws, group standards, and safety practices
✔️ Monitoring construction progress and evaluating cost variations
✔️ Maintaining documentation, expenditure reports, and asset registers
✔️ Ensuring legal, environmental, and HSEQ compliance
🛠 Maintenance & Operational Support
✔️ Performing urgent maintenance operations and safety-related tasks
✔️ Conducting full-scope annual technical visits with customer reps
✔️ Implementing preventive maintenance schedules
✔️ Auditing maintenance quality and contractor performance
✔️ Advising clients on regulatory and equipment upgrades
✔️ Managing budgets, processing orders, and verifying invoices
✔️ Dismantling and remediation of sites during asset sales
✔️ Analyzing audit findings and implementing corrective actions
🧯 HSEQ Compliance & Training
✔️ Promoting safe work environments and ensuring policy adherence
✔️ Enforcing HSEQ competencies and risk-reduction strategies
✔️ Supporting and training operators on equipment usage
✔️ Contributing to business performance reviews and AUC management
🎓 Minimum Requirements:
🎓 Education:
-
B.Sc. or B.Tech in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering
-
OR equivalent industry-related experience
💼 Experience:
-
3–7 years in project management, engineering, or technical maintenance

Experience managing end-to-end engineering projects
🧠 Skills:

Strong technical aptitude with hands-on engineering knowledge

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently and manage multiple stakeholders

Proficient in written and spoken English

Familiar with regulatory frameworks and engineering best practices
