Are you an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in pension and provident systems? YD Group is seeking a skilled and motivated Intermediate Project Manager to join their dynamic team in Johannesburg.
This contract role offers the opportunity to lead high-impact IT projects in the financial services sector, focusing on pension and provident systems. As a pivotal team member, you will manage project execution, ensure successful delivery, and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead and oversee complex IT projects specifically related to pension and provident systems.

Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets.

Coordinate project resources, activities, and deliverables across functional teams.

Monitor project progress and ensure strict adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

Communicate project status, updates, and milestones to key stakeholders and executives.

Identify potential risks and implement effective risk mitigation strategies.

Resolve project issues promptly to minimize impact on timelines and outcomes.

Mentor, guide, and support project team members to enhance performance and collaboration.
Minimum Requirements:

Proven experience as a Project Manager within the IT industry.

Hands-on experience working on pension and provident fund projects.

In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).

Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in project management within IT.

Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Asana).
Desirable:

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
