Job Overview
The Purchasing Intern will support the procurement team with daily purchasing activities, supplier coordination, and administrative tasks. This role provides hands-on experience in procurement processes, supplier management, and inventory control, making it ideal for graduates or students looking to build a career in supply chain or logistics.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in creating and processing purchase orders
- Communicate with suppliers regarding pricing, stock, and deliveries
- Maintain procurement records, supplier databases, and contracts
- Source and compare supplier quotations
- Track orders and follow up on deliveries
- Support inventory control and stock monitoring
- Assist with invoice verification and resolving discrepancies
- Prepare procurement reports and spreadsheets
- Ensure compliance with procurement procedures
- Provide general administrative support to the procurement team
Qualifications
Education
- Studying towards or recently completed a qualification in:
- Supply Chain Management
- Procurement
- Logistics
- Business Administration or related field
Experience
- No formal experience required
- Basic understanding of procurement or supply chain is advantageous

- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
