🎯 Key Purpose

As a Quality Controller, your primary responsibility is to execute quality control testing—both analytical and microbiological—to ensure that product and packaging standards meet Coca-Cola’s world-class benchmarks. You’ll maintain quality assurance records, flag non-conformances, and help optimise production while upholding compliance and audit readiness.

✅ Key Responsibilities

• Perform visual and physical quality control tests on packaging and product

• Inspect raw materials to ensure they meet quality specifications

• Record test results accurately and issue detailed reports

• Monitor and report non-conformances and identify trends affecting product quality

• Maintain a clean and safe laboratory and work environment

• Proactively manage your own development and performance

• Ensure full compliance with SHE (Safety, Health & Environmental) standards

🎓 Minimum Requirements

• Matric with Mathematics and Science

• Tertiary Qualification: Completed 3-year degree or diploma in:

  • BSc Microbiology

  • ND Food Technology

  • ND Biotechnology

• 2 years’ quality control experience in a Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) environment

• Strong experience in microbiology testing within production or lab environments

• Solid understanding of quality control principles and manufacturing processes

• Proficiency in basic statistical analysis

• Knowledge of SHE procedures and policies

• Ability to use quality testing equipment and interpret results accurately

• Computer literacy for documentation and reporting
