💪 Responsibilities:
✔ Support the Regional Quality Manager in implementing quality processes across regions and wind farms.
✔ Localize procedures and specifications based on customer requirements, Goldwind International (GWI) standards, and South African quality regulations.
✔ Conduct quality risk analysis for wind farms and draft specific quality assurance plans.
✔ Develop and maintain Quality Inspection Test Plans (ITPs) for projects.
✔ Organize and execute quality inspections at different project phases, ensuring compliance and drafting reports.
✔ Draft Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and register them in FEMS or other designated systems.
✔ Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for NCRs and create detailed reports (One-Page or 8D Reports).
✔ Participate in quality communications such as meetings, campaigns, and global quality events.
✔ Ensure compliance at the project level through routine inspections and verification against design and regulatory requirements.
✔ Maintain accurate quality records, including inspection reports, non-conformance reports, and corrective action logs.
✔ Assist the QHSE Manager in preparing for ISO audits.
✔ Provide guidance and oversight to Quality Control (QC) personnel on project sites.
🎓 Qualifications & Experience:
📚 Education:
✔ National Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering discipline (Electrical Engineering preferred).
⏳ Experience:
✔ 5 to 10 years of experience in quality assurance, preferably within the renewable energy sector.
