About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality diagnostic radiographic procedures as ordered by physicians.

• Operate imaging equipment safely and efficiently, following protocols and ensuring patient safety.

• Ensure proper patient positioning, shielding, and exposure levels to minimize radiation risks.

• Maintain accurate patient records and comply with Covenant Health policies and procedures.

• Collaborate with physicians, radiologists, and other healthcare staff to deliver coordinated care.

• Maintain cleanliness and readiness of imaging rooms and equipment.

• Adhere strictly to infection control and radiation safety practices.

• Offer reassurance and clear communication to patients during imaging procedures.

• Stay current with trends and advancements in radiographic technology and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent.

• Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification.

• State licensure (if applicable based on jurisdiction).

• CPR certification required.

• Prior experience in hospital or outpatient imaging settings preferred.

• Excellent interpersonal and patient service skills.

• Familiarity with digital radiography systems and PACS.
