Job Overview

Piekenierskloof Mountain Resort, part of the Dream Hotels & Resorts Group, is seeking a professional and guest-focused Receptionist (Front of House) to serve as the first point of contact for visitors. This role is critical in creating a welcoming environment, managing reservations, and ensuring guests receive outstanding service throughout their stay.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist guests during check-in and check-out processes

• Manage reservation enquiries, confirmations, and room availability

• Respond professionally to guest enquiries, requests, and concerns

• Provide accurate information about resort facilities and local attractions

• Handle telephone calls, emails, and in-person enquiries

• Perform front desk administrative tasks including data capture and filing

• Process payments, manage cash handling, and balance cash drawers

• Resolve guest complaints efficiently to ensure a positive experience

• Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to manage room readiness

• Monitor access control and follow safety and security procedures

• Promote resort amenities and services to enhance guest experience and revenue

Minimum Requirements

• Matric (Grade 12) qualification

• 1–2 years’ experience in a receptionist, front-of-house, or hospitality role

• At least two years’ solid customer service experience

• Basic computer literacy and familiarity with reservation systems

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
