🩺 Role Summary

As a Registered Nurse in ICU or High Care, you will provide high-quality, patient-focused care in a fast-paced environment, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of all critical care procedures in line with professional standards and the nursing Scope of Practice.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver nursing care aligned with ICU and High Care protocols

  • Perform clinical procedures and risk assessments competently

  • Monitor patient vitals, administer medications, and manage life support equipment

  • Maintain accurate documentation and patient records

  • Adhere to infection prevention and safety policies

  • Collaborate effectively with healthcare teams

📘 Minimum Requirements

  • Immediate availability

  • Valid South African Nursing Council (SANC) license

  • ICU ward experience is essential

  • Post-basic Diploma/Certificate in Critical Care Nursing (advantageous)

  • Strong knowledge of clinical procedures and patient care principles

  • Excellent understanding of the nursing Scope of Practice
