As a Professional Nurse, you will collaborate with a multi-professional healthcare team to provide safe, efficient, and patient-focused care. You will lead and coordinate nursing activities to ensure optimal clinical outcomes, compliance with regulations, and a positive patient experience.

๐Ÿฉบ Patient Care & Safety

  • Deliver safe and quality nursing care within the scope of practice

  • Identify, prevent, and manage clinical risks to ensure patient safety

  • Develop and implement nursing care plans

๐Ÿ“ Documentation & Records

  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive nursing records for all interventions

  • Ensure stock, equipment, and medications are correctly charted

๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€โš•๏ธ Staff Development

  • Create a learning environment that builds nursing staff competence

  • Mentor junior staff and support professional development

๐ŸŒŸ Patient Experience

  • Facilitate a positive patient experience through compassionate and professional care

๐ŸŽ“ Required Education

Essential:

  • Diploma leading to registration as a General Nurse OR

  • 4-year Nursing Diploma or Bachelor of Nursing

Desired:

  • Postgraduate Advanced Diploma in Midwifery

  • Postgraduate Diploma in Nursing (Critical Care, Emergency Care, Peri-operative Nursing) for specialist units


๐Ÿงฐ Required Skills & Knowledge

  • Basic Life Support training (ACLS, ATLS, PALS for specialised wards)

  • Computer literate (Microsoft Office)

  • Patient assessment and care planning

  • Nursing processes, procedures, and record keeping

  • Infection prevention and control

  • Pharmacology knowledge

  • Knowledge of relevant nursing legislation

  • Ability to identify and manage risks
