Job Overview
The Department of Mineral and Petroleum Resources is offering an internship opportunity within the Mineral and Petroleum Titles Registration unit at its Pretoria Head Office.
This internship is aimed at graduates who want to gain practical administrative and office management experience within the public sector. Successful candidates will work closely with the departmentโs registration team and gain exposure to government processes and records management.
Interns will be responsible for arranging their own accommodation and transport for the duration of the programme.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the Mineral and Petroleum Titles Registration unit.
- Assist with filing, record keeping and document management.
- Support office administration and registration processes.
- Prepare reports, correspondence and other office documentation.
- Maintain accurate records of applications and departmental information.
- Assist with data capturing and updating departmental systems.
- Participate in training and workplace development activities.
Qualifications
Education
Applicants must hold a National Diploma or Degree in one of the following fields:
- Public Administration or Public Management
- Office Management and Technology
- Office Administration
Experience
- No previous work experience is required.
- Applicants who have previously participated in a government internship programme will not be considered.
