We’re hiring a Counter Clerk – AI Trainer to join our client’s remote team. This part-time opportunity allows you to apply your hands-on retail or service counter expertise in a digital environment—training AI systems to think, respond, and interact like real customer service professionals.

This is not a traditional counter clerk job—it’s your chance to be on the cutting edge of AI training by simulating real-life repair, rental, and service order transactions.


🔍 Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in counter sales and customer service scenarios.

  • Simulate in-person interactions for repairs, rentals, and services for AI model training.

  • Explain service offerings, compute mock costs, and process simulated payments.

  • Provide clear and comprehensive written and verbal feedback.

  • Contribute to improving AI understanding of workflows and real-world transactions.

  • Collaborate with QA, AI developers, and other trainers to enhance data quality.

  • Identify and communicate gaps in AI responses, contributing to continuous improvement.


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Prior experience as a counter clerk or in customer-facing service environments.

  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.

  • Proven ability to handle and process service orders, explain options, and finalize transactions.

  • Comfortable working remotely and using online collaboration tools.

  • Customer-focused, tech-curious, and detail-oriented.

  • Reliable and proactive in meeting project timelines.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience with AI/ML, data labeling, or training platforms.

  • Knowledge of CRM, service tracking systems, or digital annotation tools.

  • Experience in quality assurance or process improvement within service teams.
