Are you passionate about hospitality and customer service? We are looking for a detail-oriented and customer-focused Reservationist to join our successful hotel in Citrusdal. This role requires exceptional communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a dedication to ensuring the best guest experiences.


Key Responsibilities:

Reservation Management:

  • Handle all incoming reservation inquiries via phone, email, and online platforms.
  • Accurately input, update, and manage reservations in the hotel’s booking system.
  • Monitor room availability and update records accordingly.

Guest Assistance & Customer Service:

  • Provide personalized assistance to guests, addressing their inquiries and special requests.
  • Offer recommendations on room selections, packages, and special offers.
  • Handle guest complaints professionally, escalating where necessary.

Administrative Duties:

  • Maintain accurate records of reservations, cancellations, and modifications.
  • Prepare and distribute daily reports on occupancy rates and availability.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and front desk teams to ensure smooth guest check-ins.

Sales & Upselling:

  • Promote hotel services, packages, and exclusive deals to guests.
  • Upsell room upgrades and additional amenities to maximize revenue.

Team Coordination & Communication:

  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing team on promotional strategies.
  • Ensure guest requests are effectively communicated to relevant departments.
  • Provide support to front desk and concierge services as needed.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

🎓 Education:

  • A high school diploma (Grade 12) or equivalent qualification.
  • Additional training or certification in hospitality management is advantageous.

💼 Experience:

  • Previous experience in hospitality, reservations, or customer service is preferred.
  • Familiarity with hotel reservation systems is an advantage.

🖥 Skills:

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel management software.
  • A positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure.
