Are you passionate about hospitality and customer service? We are looking for a detail-oriented and customer-focused Reservationist to join our successful hotel in Citrusdal. This role requires exceptional communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a dedication to ensuring the best guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Reservation Management:
- Handle all incoming reservation inquiries via phone, email, and online platforms.
- Accurately input, update, and manage reservations in the hotel’s booking system.
- Monitor room availability and update records accordingly.
✅ Guest Assistance & Customer Service:
- Provide personalized assistance to guests, addressing their inquiries and special requests.
- Offer recommendations on room selections, packages, and special offers.
- Handle guest complaints professionally, escalating where necessary.
✅ Administrative Duties:
- Maintain accurate records of reservations, cancellations, and modifications.
- Prepare and distribute daily reports on occupancy rates and availability.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and front desk teams to ensure smooth guest check-ins.
✅ Sales & Upselling:
- Promote hotel services, packages, and exclusive deals to guests.
- Upsell room upgrades and additional amenities to maximize revenue.
✅ Team Coordination & Communication:
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing team on promotional strategies.
- Ensure guest requests are effectively communicated to relevant departments.
- Provide support to front desk and concierge services as needed.
Qualifications & Skills Required:
🎓 Education:
- A high school diploma (Grade 12) or equivalent qualification.
- Additional training or certification in hospitality management is advantageous.
💼 Experience:
- Previous experience in hospitality, reservations, or customer service is preferred.
- Familiarity with hotel reservation systems is an advantage.
🖥 Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel management software.
- A positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure.
