Job Overview

The Beekman Group is seeking a motivated and sales-driven Reservations Consultant to support members with booking and travel planning needs. Based at the Port Shepstone Head Office, this fixed-term role focuses on handling reservations, responding to customer enquiries across multiple channels, and achieving individual and team sales targets within a fast-paced call centre environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Handle reservations and booking requests across multiple product lines

  • Respond to customer enquiries via phone, email, social media, and face-to-face consultations

  • Provide accurate travel advice and booking recommendations

  • Participate in outbound call programmes to support sales and retention targets

  • Deliver service in line with SLA metrics, including turnaround time and customer satisfaction

  • Achieve individual, team, and departmental performance targets

  • Resolve general customer queries professionally and efficiently

  • Uphold The Beekman Way by delivering customer-focused service excellence

  • Perform additional duties as required by the department


Minimum Requirements

  • Matric (Grade 12) qualification

  • Minimum of two yearsโ€™ relevant call centre experience

  • Experience in sales or customer service, preferably within hospitality or travel

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

  • Strong multitasking, time management, and prioritisation skills

  • Ability to work effectively under pressure

  • Willingness to work shifts, including Saturdays
