📝 Job Overview
The Resort Administrative Assistant will provide comprehensive administrative support to the Resort Manager and Heads of Department. This role is critical in ensuring smooth daily resort operations through effective administration, financial support, communication coordination, and data management. The position involves handling confidential and time-sensitive information while supporting guest services, reservations, reporting, and general office administration.
📋 Key Responsibilities

Provide administrative support to the Resort Manager and departmental heads

Manage telephone communication and respond to written and verbal queries

Perform general office administration, filing, and data capturing

Assist with reservations, guest correspondence, and internal communication

Handle basic financial administration including cash handling and numerical reporting

Manage stock control and asset records
-
Compile, maintain, and submit operational and management reports
-
Maintain accurate resort information and administrative records
-
Support compliance with legislation, resort policies, and brand standards

Assist with ad hoc administrative duties as required to support resort operations
🎓 Qualifications
Education
-
Matric (Grade 12)
Experience
-
Previous administrative or resort/hospitality support experience
-
Client liaison experience essential

Financial or numerical administration experience (advantageous)
Skills

Computer literacy in Microsoft Excel and Word

Strong administrative and organisational skills

Excellent verbal and written communication abilities

High level of numerical accuracy and attention to detail

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Valid driver’s licence with own transport
