📝 Role Summary:

ANEW Hotel Hilton is hiring an experienced and customer-focused Restaurant Manager to lead the Food & Beverage operations. The ideal candidate will drive customer satisfaction, boost team performance, ensure smooth restaurant operations, and contribute to the financial success of the outlet.

You will be based at our 4-star property in Pietermaritzburg and report directly to the Food & Beverage leadership team.

✅ Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12 (Matric)

• Hospitality Certificate or Hospitality Management Diploma (advantageous)

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in hospitality (4-star environment)

• Minimum 18 months in a supervisory or management role

• Deep understanding of Food & Beverage operations

• Strong financial acumen and cost control skills

• Proficiency in POS systems like Opera and Micros

• Excellent customer service and time management abilities

• Fluent in English; proficiency in IsiZulu or IsiXhosa is an advantage

🛠️ Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Oversee restaurant operations and staff performance

• Deliver excellent customer experiences by exceeding expectations

• Manage budgets, revenue forecasts, and department sustainability

• Control F&B cost and monitor financial performance

• Ensure high standards of cleanliness, safety, and food quality

• Maintain optimal staffing levels across the restaurant

• Implement hotel SOPs and ensure adherence to brand standards

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service

• Train and mentor team members to achieve operational excellence
