Job Overview
The Retail Graduate role offers an exceptional opportunity for recent graduates to gain practical exposure within Takealot.com’s Retail team. The programme is designed to develop both technical and soft skills, preparing graduates for long-term careers in a fast-paced, data-driven e-commerce environment.
Graduates will support core retail and merchandising operations while learning directly from experienced professionals across the business.
Key Responsibilities

Support the Retail division with administrative functions related to order processing and buy plans

Audit product availability, selection, and pricing for market bestsellers and new releases

Assist with merchandising checks, including customer reviews, links, and newsletters

Manage customer queries and escalate issues where required

Support retail reporting, coordination, and ad hoc projects within the team

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal retail execution
Qualifications
Education

Degree in Marketing, Retail Management, BCom, Fashion, or a related field
Experience

No formal work experience required

Exposure to retail, e-commerce, or administrative environments will be advantageous
