📘 About the Learnership

This NQF Level 2 programme is tailored to equip participants with both theoretical knowledge and on-the-job retail skills. Learners will work in dynamic retail environments, helping to develop practical competencies in customer service, stock management, merchandising, and point-of-sale operations.

It is ideal for those who want to enter the retail industry, gain valuable work experience, and improve their employment prospects.

✅ Minimum Requirements:

To be considered, applicants must:

  • Have a Grade 12 (Matric) certificate

  • Be South African citizens with a valid South African ID

  • Be between 18 – 35 years old

  • Be currently unemployed

  • Have no prior participation in the same learnership

  • Be in good health and able to handle retail demands

  • Possess literacy and basic numeracy skills in reading, writing, and maths

  • Communicate clearly and effectively in English

  • Have no criminal record

  • Be team-oriented, willing to learn, and adaptable under pressure

  • Retail operations and procedures
