Job Purpose
Are you passionate about sports and customer service? Join the adidas team as a Retail Sales Associate and help provide a world-class experience to our customers. In this role, you’ll assist in day-to-day store operations, ensure excellent customer service, and help maintain adidas’ high standards of performance.
As a Retail Sales Associate, you will work closely with the management team to maintain store appearance, assist customers in finding the right products, and contribute to achieving sales goals. Key Responsibilities
🏅 Customer Service Excellence
- Ensure each customer receives the highest level of adidas service by actively listening and responding to their needs.
- Greet customers and assist them in finding the right products.
- Offer add-on sales and help customers understand product benefits to increase sales.
💳 Sales & Transactions
- Assist in completing regular sales transactions involving cash, credit, or checks.
- Contribute to meeting store and personal sales goals.
📦 Stock Management
- Assist with product flow from the stockroom to the sales floor.
- Help manage inventory and maintain store organization, ensuring merchandise is properly displayed and accessible.
🔒 Loss Prevention & Store Security
- Ensure that company assets and stock are always secured to minimize shrinkage.
- Follow company policies and procedures to maintain integrity in all store transactions.
🏪 Store Maintenance & Housekeeping
- Maintain general housekeeping standards in the store, ensuring it is always clean, organized, and welcoming for customers.
Skills & Competencies
✅ Customer-Focused Approach
- Strong listening skills and the ability to understand customer needs to offer the right solutions.
- Experience in customer service and an ability to meet customer expectations.
✅ Sales Skills
- Ability to meet sales goals and drive customer satisfaction through effective selling techniques.

Education & Experience Requirements
🎓 Minimum Education:
- Matric certificate or equivalent.
💼 Experience:
- 0 – 1 year of retail experience is ideal, but we also welcome entry-level candidates passionate about customer service and sports.
