About the Role

Screwfix is looking for a motivated Retail Supervisor to be a key player in our team. As a Retail Supervisor, you will lead by example, ensuring customers receive top-notch service whether you’re assisting at the front of the store or supporting warehouse operations. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support the retail team to achieve high standards in customer service and operational excellence.

• Engage directly with customers, assisting and advising them to enhance their shopping experience.

• Oversee daily store and warehouse operations to ensure smooth and efficient processes.

• Manage stock levels and visual merchandising to maintain a well-organized store environment.

• Implement Screwfix’s Health and Safety policies to ensure a safe workplace for all employees and customers.

• Motivate and develop team members through training and performance feedback.

• Work collaboratively with other supervisors and management to meet store targets and objectives.

Skills and Experience Required

• Previous retail supervision or team leadership experience is highly advantageous.

• Strong customer service skills and a passion for helping customers.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.

• Proactive problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Flexibility to work within Screwfix’s opening hours:

  • Monday to Friday: 7am – 8pm

  • Saturday: 7am – 6pm

  • Sunday: 9am – 4pm
