Job Overview

The Risk Intern will support the implementation of the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Framework under the guidance of the Risk Specialist. This internship provides practical exposure to risk identification, assessment, reporting, and stakeholder engagement within a regulated public sector environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of the Enterprise Risk Management Framework

• Assist Risk Specialists and Risk Champions in embedding sound risk practices

• Contribute to the development and maintenance of risk registers

• Prepare risk reports and supporting documentation

• Assist with facilitating risk workshops and training sessions

• Support stakeholder engagement and coordination activities

• Perform additional risk-related duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education

• Degree in Risk Management

Experience

• No prior work experience required

Skills and Competencies

• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

• High attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to maintain confidentiality

• South African citizenship
