Key Responsibilities
As a Registered Nurse in Theatre, you will:
✔ Adhere to PN Scope of Practice:
- Execute duties according to professional nursing guidelines.
✔ Perform Theatre Duties:
- Assist in both anaesthetic and circulating roles during surgical procedures.
✔ Assist in Cosmetic & Reconstructive Surgery:
- Support operations in cosmetic, reconstructive, minor gynaecological, and urology procedures.
✔ Ensure Patient Care:
- Demonstrate and assess clinical procedures with accuracy and compassion.
✔ Maintain Clinical Standards:
- Uphold a high standard of patient care and adhere to best practices in nursing.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have:
✔ Immediate Availability:
- Must be available to start immediately.
✔ Valid SANC Licence:
- A current and valid SANC registration is required.
✔ Experience:
- At least 6 months of post-qualification experience in Theatre.
- Experience in cosmetic surgery, reconstructive surgery, and minor gynaecological and urology procedures is an advantage.
✔ Clinical Competency:
- Demonstrated competence in performing relevant clinical procedures.
- A strong understanding of the nursing Scope of Practice.
