Job Overview

The Sales Desk Representative is responsible for managing small-ticket credit applications, supporting Territory Managers (TM) and Dealer Finance & Insurance (F&I) Managers. This role involves providing credit analysis, negotiating deals, ensuring regulatory compliance, and delivering product knowledge to internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Interface with customers and dealer F&I to negotiate deals and sell VFS products

• Ensure compliance with company regulatory and tax requirements

• Support Territory Managers with fleet and key account requests

• Conduct background research on customer businesses to prepare credit applications for the Credit & Risk Committee

• Deliver point-of-sale training for dealer F&I and Volvo product sellers

• Contribute to sales forecasts and performance reporting

• Maintain accurate records and reports on credit applications and approvals

Qualifications

🎓 Education

• University Degree or equivalent (required)

💼 Experience

• Experience in asset-based financing is preferred

• Strong financial and business understanding

🧠 Skills & Competencies

• Knowledge of VFS, Volvo products, and dealer business operations

• Strong sales and negotiation skills

• Analytical ability to compile and motivate credit applications

• High IT proficiency and literacy

• Excellent English communication skills (oral and written)

• Motivated to grow professionally and personally
