Job Overview:

Scania is looking for an enthusiastic and driven Sales Executive to join our team in Middelburg. In this role, you will be responsible for promoting and selling new Scania vehicles and services within a designated region. You will engage directly with customers, build strong relationships, and ensure the sales process meets their needs and expectations. Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Customer Engagement:

  • Sales Execution: Promote and sell Scania vehicles and services to new and existing customers within the assigned region.

  • Customer Relationship Building: Strengthen relationships with existing customers while developing new business opportunities.

  • Sales Strategy Implementation: Evaluate customer requirements, develop tailored solutions, and implement strategies that increase sales and customer satisfaction.

  • Negotiation & Closing Sales: Handle negotiations, provide quotations, and close sales with a focus on long-term customer relationships.

  • Brand Promotion: Uphold and enhance the Scania brand image, ensuring that all interactions with customers reflect the company’s values and standards.

Customer Relationship Management (CRM):

  • CRM System Utilization: Efficiently manage and update the CRM system to track customer interactions, sales progress, and opportunities.

  • Customer Service Excellence: Provide advanced customer service by addressing client needs and resolving any issues that arise throughout the sales process.

Business Development:

  • Market Analysis: Keep up to date with industry trends, customer preferences, and competitive products to maintain a competitive edge.

  • Target Achievement: Consistently meet or exceed sales targets and business objectives.


Minimum Requirements:

  • Education: Matric certificate or equivalent. A Business Management or Sales-related diploma will be advantageous.

  • Experience: 3-5 years of direct sales experience, preferably within the heavy commercial or mechanical industry.

  • Skills: Proactive sales skills, negotiation abilities, and a strong understanding of customer relationship management (CRM).

  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with Scania’s product line and services is a plus.

  • Other: Ability to work independently and as part of a team. A valid driver’s license is required.
