🚀 About the Role

Tiger Brands, Africa’s largest listed FMCG company, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team. This is a high-impact role focused on expanding market presence, executing promotional strategies, and driving Albany brand sales across designated territories.

As a Sales Representative, you’ll manage a defined customer base, execute sales plans, develop strong client relationships, and play a key role in building Tiger Brands’ growth in the market. 🛠️ Key Responsibilities

✅ Sales Execution & Route Management

  • Promote Albany products to increase market penetration and meet weekly/monthly sales targets.

  • Schedule regular route rides (minimum 2 per year per route) and optimize sales call cycles.

  • Manage and develop sales routes and ensure territory performance.

  • Monitor returns, donations, and discounting practices.

  • Collaborate with Telesales for coordinated client service.

✅ Client Engagement & Account Development

  • Open new accounts and handle client queries and special deliveries.

  • Collect outstanding payments and manage customer satisfaction.

  • Conduct weekly interviews with delivery drivers to review performance.

✅ Merchandising & Brand Representation

  • Ensure proper stock rotation, clean displays, and product quality compliance.

  • Build in-store visibility with promotional materials and additional shelf space.

  • Monitor and minimize credit returns in accordance with policy.

✅ Trade & Channel Marketing

  • Build customer plans that align with brand and channel strategies.

  • Implement pricing strategies and promotional activities.

  • Understand and support trade marketing objectives.

✅ Quality & Compliance

  • Handle customer complaints professionally and promptly.

  • Report and manage consumer and market incidents.

  • Oversee product withdrawals and recalls when necessary.


📚 Minimum Qualifications & Requirements

  • National Senior Certificate (Matric).

  • Minimum 2 years experience in Marketing and Sales (FMCG preferred).

  • Valid Driver’s Licence and own reliable transport.

  • Computer Literacy (MS Office proficiency).
