π― Role Purpose
Weco is seeking a results-driven Sales Representative to accelerate sales growth within the mining and industrial markets. This role combines technical understanding, commercial acumen, and relationship management to secure new business, manage key accounts, and expand market presence.
The successful candidate will play a critical role in achieving Wecoβs strategic objective of doubling sales turnover within three years.
π οΈ Key Responsibilities
π Sales Growth & Account Management

Drive new business development within mining and industrial sectors

Manage and grow existing customer accounts

Execute Wecoβs go-to-market and sales strategies

Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets
π€ Customer Engagement

Build strong client relationships through regular site visits

Provide technical support and consultative sales solutions

Promote aftermarket services, spares, and repair offerings
π§° Product & Service Promotion

Present Wecoβs full product portfolio, including rock drills, repair kits, and optimisation services

Demonstrate product features, methodologies, and value propositions

Position Weco as a trusted technical partner
π° Commercial & Contract Management

Prepare, present, and negotiate commercial proposals and contracts

Monitor pricing strategies and margin performance
-
Support finance teams with payment follow-ups and collections
π Market Intelligence & Representation

Track industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies
-
Identify new market opportunities and risks
-
Represent Weco at trade shows, industry events, and customer forums
π€ Internal Collaboration

Work closely with technical, service, and operations teams

Provide management with market insights and customer feedback

Ensure seamless delivery of products and services
π Qualifications & Experience
π Education
-
Bachelorβs degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field
πΌ Experience
-
5+ years B2B industrial sales experience
-
Proven sales exposure within the African mining industry
-
Strong understanding of mining and construction equipment (high-level)
π Other Requirements

Valid Driverβs Licence
-
Willingness to travel across the EMEA region
