Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our Go-To-Market (GTM) team in Johannesburg. In this hybrid role, you will be responsible for driving PayJoy’s sales efforts, building relationships with potential clients, and helping our company expand in the local market. As a key player in the sales team, you will work closely with other departments to achieve our sales targets and ensure the successful delivery of our innovative financial solutions.
Key Responsibilities
As a Sales Representative, your core duties will include:
🔑 Sales & Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand PayJoy’s footprint in Johannesburg.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders.
- Present PayJoy’s products and services to potential customers, ensuring they understand how our solutions benefit them.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop strategies for lead generation and prospect engagement.
📈 Sales Target Achievement:
- Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Develop and execute sales strategies that align with the company’s goals.
- Regularly report on sales progress and pipeline development to the management team.
📝 Client Engagement & Support:
- Conduct product demos and provide client support throughout the sales cycle.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by responding to inquiries and addressing any concerns promptly.
- Assist clients in completing the sales process, ensuring all necessary documentation is accurate and timely.
💡 Collaboration:
- Work cross-functionally with teams like marketing, operations, and customer success to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Contribute valuable insights to improve product offerings and market strategies.
Skills & Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:
- 📌 Experience: 2+ years in a sales or business development role, preferably in a tech or financial services environment.
