🌟 About the Role

Transnet Engineering is seeking an experienced Senior Manager: SAP Finance & Outbound Logistics to take full ownership of the SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules within the organization. This strategic leadership role bridges IT and business functions to drive digital transformation in finance and logistics, making you a vital contributor to Transnet’s operational excellence.

You will lead the implementation and ongoing optimization of SAP FI/CO modules, guiding a team of experts, aligning system functionalities with business needs, and ensuring the integrity, efficiency, and sustainability of Transnet’s financial systems.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of SAP FI/CO modules.

• Manage a skilled team of SAP professionals in the finance domain.

• Analyze business processes to design optimized SAP solutions.

• Oversee solution design, testing, and deployment.

• Provide expert end-user training on SAP functionalities.

• Establish and implement best practices and process standards.

• Handle troubleshooting, upgrades, and ongoing support.

• Document all developments and system changes for future reference.

• Drive SAP S/4HANA implementation initiatives.

📌 Qualifications and Experience

Mandatory:

• Degree in IT, Business Management, Finance, or relevant field

• Minimum 8 years’ ICT experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial capacity

• Minimum 5 years in the SAP FICO environment

• Strong technical understanding of SAP FICO integration with other modules

OR

• 10 years’ experience in ICT with at least 5 years in management

• Minimum 5 years in the SAP FICO environment

Preferred:

• SAP Certification in FICO
