✈️ About the Role

As a Specialist SAP FICO, you will be a vital member of SAA’s ERP Finance team, supporting and enhancing financial processes using SAP ECC6. Your focus will be on both Finance (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules, ensuring accurate financial data management, balance sheet reporting, and effective financial decision-making capabilities.

💼 Key Responsibilities

• Provide support and enhancements to existing SAP FICO processes.

• Configure, customize, and maintain FICO components:

  • General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR)

  • Banking, Asset Management, Cost/Profit Center Accounting

  • Product Costing & Profitability Analysis

• Conduct system integration with SD, MM, and PP modules.

• Develop functional specifications and collaborate with SAP technical developers.

• Manage production issues, upgrades, user training, and documentation.

• Troubleshoot and resolve third-party integration issues (EDI/ALE/IDOCs).

• Work with senior finance stakeholders to understand business needs and deliver tailored SAP solutions.

• Lead the delivery of finance projects aligned with the broader SAP strategy.

• Continuously assess and incorporate inputs from business processes and existing templates to develop implementable solutions.

📘 Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Cost Management (NQF Level 7)

• SAP Certification in FI/CO is essential

• 3–5 years of SAP ECC6 FICO experience

• Advanced knowledge of:

  • SAP configuration and customization

  • Inter-module integration

  • Functional documentation and blueprint design
