🎯 About the Role
As the School Engagement Coordinator for Northern Ireland, you’ll take a leading role in connecting schools and youth programmes with exciting opportunities in film, games, and creative media. You’ll be the key regional contact for delivering and promoting the charity’s flagship education and engagement projects.
This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about education, youth development, and creative storytelling—particularly through film and digital media.
🌟 Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain strong relationships with schools and educators across Northern Ireland.

Promote charity-led programmes including Story Builder, Young Creatives, Careers and Progression, and more.

Organise and deliver workshops, screenings, and creative events tailored to local educational needs.

Work closely with industry partners and stakeholders to align programmes with career pathways.

Use Salesforce CRM to track engagement, measure outcomes, and inform programme design.

Assist in delivering locally funded projects, ensuring inclusivity and accessibility across communities.

Contribute to UK-wide initiatives and local strategy implementation.

Support the monitoring, evaluation, and reporting of all programmes.

Occasionally work evenings/weekends and travel across the UK as needed.
🧾 Requirements
Essential:

Demonstrable experience in youth engagement, education, or creative programme delivery.

Deep understanding of the Northern Ireland education system and curriculum.

Ability to build partnerships across schools, local organisations, and the creative industry.

Strong project management and reporting skills (ideally with CRM tools like Salesforce).

Confident public speaker with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Highly organised with the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously.

A valid UK driving license and access to your own vehicle for travel to schools, including rural areas.

A proactive approach to diversity and inclusion in educational programming.

Willingness to undergo an Access NI/DBS clearance check (at the charity’s expense).
Desirable:

Experience in event planning, delivering training/workshops, or creative arts education.

Familiarity with film, gaming, or screen industry initiatives.

Passion for storytelling and youth development through the arts.
