🧑‍🏫 Role Overview:

As a Secondary English Teacher, you will:

  • Teach ATAR English to students in Years 7 to 12

  • Plan and deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons

  • Implement creative and tech-integrated teaching strategies

  • Foster a respectful and inspiring classroom environment

  • Collaborate with 6–7 English educators and the Head of Department

  • Communicate regularly with parents to support student progress and wellbeing

  • Term 1, 2026 commencement

🧩 Who We’re Looking For:

We’re seeking someone who is not only an excellent English teacher but also a values-driven individual aligned with our Christian ethos.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Education or Graduate Diploma in Education

  • At least 2 years’ experience teaching English in a secondary school

  • Registration with the TRBWA (Teachers Registration Board of Western Australia)

  • Current Working with Children Check (WWCC)

  • A practising (church-attending) Christian

  • Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills

Preferred:

  • Experience with Western Australian Curriculum

  • Willingness to relocate or apply for visa sponsorship if needed
