About the Programme

Transnet Port Terminals (TPT) is offering a Sector Specific Trainee Programme, designed to create a pipeline for key operational roles within the organisation.

This 12-month structured training programme aligns learners’ academic background, career aspirations, and TPT’s business needs. Candidates will undergo structured training, performance reviews, and real work exposure to develop the skills required in South Africa’s vital logistics and transport industry.

📌 Preference will be given to candidates residing in the King Cetshwayo District.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in a structured training programme across operations.

• Undergo regular performance reviews and competency assessments.

• Perform all duties and tasks required as part of the training and development plan.

• Support operational functions and gain hands-on industry exposure.

Minimum Requirements

• Matric/Grade 12 qualification.

• TVET N6 in Logistics/Transport (advantageous).

• Must be between 18 – 35 years old.

• South African citizenship required.
