Job Overview

Empact Group is seeking a professional and vigilant Security Officer to help maintain a safe, secure, and controlled environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for patrolling premises, monitoring surveillance systems, enforcing access control, and responding effectively to security incidents and emergencies.

This role is ideal for individuals with strong situational awareness, discipline, and a proactive approach to safety and risk prevention.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols of premises, including buildings, parking areas, and access points

• Monitor and operate surveillance cameras, alarm systems, and other security equipment

• Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, and emergency situations

• Enforce security procedures, including access control, ID verification, and visitor management

• Perform routine inspections of doors, windows, and security equipment

• Prepare detailed incident reports and maintain accurate daily activity logs

• Provide guidance to employees and visitors regarding safety and emergency procedures

• Assist with evacuations and emergency response actions when required

Qualifications & Requirements

Education & Certification

• Security-related certification (required)

Experience

• Previous experience in security or law enforcement is strongly preferred

Skills & Competencies

• High attention to detail and strong situational awareness

• Ability to remain calm and decisive in high-pressure or emergency situations

• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Physical fitness to perform patrols, stand for extended periods, and respond quickly to incidents

• Proficiency in using surveillance systems, security software, and communication tools

Work Environment

• On-site security operations

• Shift-based work may be required
