Role Overview
As a Senior Android Engineer, you will work closely with a team of experienced engineers to design, develop, and maintain high-quality Android applications used in real-world public safety environments. This is a hands-on role within an Agile and DevOps culture, focused on delivering robust, scalable, and secure mobile solutions.
You will contribute across the full software development lifecycle, influence technical direction, and mentor junior and intermediate engineers while continuously improving code quality and engineering practices.
Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain advanced Android applications using Kotlin

Build modern UI components using Jetpack Compose and Material Design principles

Participate in full SDLC activities including analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment

Write clean, testable, and maintainable code aligned with best practices

Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks
-
Ensure application performance, scalability, and security best practices
-
Identify technical risks, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities early
-
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment
-
Mentor and support Junior and Intermediate Android Developers
Technical Requirements
-
Minimum 5 yearsβ professional Android development experience
-
Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Android SDK
-
Practical experience with Jetpack Compose
-
Solid understanding of software engineering methodologies

Experience writing unit, integration, and automated tests
-
Knowledge of Material Design and Android UI guidelines
-
Experience participating in full software development lifecycles
-
Hands-on experience managing applications via Google Play Console
