Job Overview

Moyo Business Advisory is seeking a highly experienced Senior Banking Business and System Analyst to lead system analysis and improvement initiatives. This role focuses on gathering requirements, enhancing systems, and supporting digital banking transformation projects. The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders, developers, and business teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and document system and business requirements
Liaise with stakeholders to gather additional requirements and features
Collaborate with IT teams and developers to design and implement systems
Document interfaces between new and legacy systems
Validate system changes through testing and quality assurance
Train users on new systems and provide ongoing support
Ensure projects are delivered within deadlines and budget
Develop and maintain system process documentation
Analyze recurring technical issues and recommend improvements
Communicate insights and findings to product and leadership teams
Build and maintain strong relationships with partners and stakeholders
Continuously identify opportunities to improve systems and processes

Qualifications

Education

Tertiary Degree, Diploma, or Certificate in IT, Engineering, Project Management, or related field

Experience

Minimum 7+ years’ experience as a Business or System Analyst
Experience in digital banking environments (essential)
Proven experience in requirements gathering and system testing
Exposure to project management or team leadership roles
Experience working on large-scale projects

Skills

Strong knowledge of SQL and ability to read queries
Business and systems analysis expertise
Process documentation and system design skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement (including C-level)
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Technical literacy and understanding of system integration
Time management and project coordination skills
Leadership and team management capabilities
Strategic thinking and ability to translate objectives into execution
