Role Overview
-
The Senior Banking Business & System Analyst is responsible for analysing business needs, improving system functionality, guiding solution design, and ensuring digital banking systems meet operational and strategic requirements.
-
This role requires deep experience in banking environments, strong analytical capability, advanced documentation skills, stakeholder management, and the ability to translate business challenges into technical solutions.

The analyst is expected to support system enhancements end-to-end: requirements, process mapping, testing, implementation, integration, rollout and optimisation.
Key Responsibilities

Identify, document and validate system and business requirements.

Liaise with system users to capture new features, changes and enhancements.

Document integrations between new and old systems.
-
Collaborate closely with developers, architects and IT delivery teams.

Test system changes and confirm functional accuracy before implementation.

Train end users and provide technical support during transition phases.
-
Ensure project timelines, budgets and deliverables are met.

Maintain updated process documentation and system tracking documents.

Detect recurring issues, analyse root causes and propose improvements.

Communicate risks, insights and progress reports to product and leadership teams.

Develop frameworks for monitoring system performance and customer experience impact.

Drive continuous optimisation within the digital banking environment.
Required Qualifications
-
Degree, diploma or certificate in Information Technology, Engineering, Project Management or similar.
Experience & Knowledge
-
7+ years experience as a Business Analyst or System Analyst.

Strong background in digital banking systems and enterprise banking environments.

Ability to read and interpret SQL queries.
-
Experience in requirements elicitation, testing and system validation.
-
Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to business users.
-
Experience with large projects, team collaboration and project execution.

Strong process documentation and analytical assessment skills.
