Moyo Business Advisory is seeking a highly experienced Senior Banking Business and System Analyst to join its Pretoria-based advisory team. This role is critical in supporting digital banking initiatives through in-depth systems analysis, requirements gathering, stakeholder engagement, and system optimisation.

The successful candidate will play a senior role in bridging business needs and technical solutions, working closely with developers, IT teams, and senior stakeholders. You will be responsible for analysing existing systems, designing improved solutions, and ensuring that new and enhanced banking systems deliver measurable business value.

🧠 Key Responsibilities

• Analyse, document, and define business and system requirements for digital banking initiatives

• Engage with users and stakeholders to identify additional features, enhancements, and system improvements

• Document interfaces between new and legacy banking systems

• Collaborate with developers and IT teams to design and implement system solutions

• Validate system changes through structured testing and quality assurance

• Train end users on new systems and provide post-implementation support

• Monitor project timelines, budgets, and delivery milestones

• Stay current with emerging banking technologies and system development trends

• Build and manage relationships with internal and external partners

• Identify recurring technical issues and provide recommendations to product teams

• Translate strategic objectives into executable system and process improvements

🎓 Qualifications & Requirements

Education

• Degree, diploma, or certificate in IT, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field

Experience

• Minimum of 7 years’ experience as a Business Analyst or System Analyst

• Proven experience in digital banking environments

• Strong background in requirements elicitation, documentation, and system testing

• Exposure to project management or team leadership roles

• Experience working on large, complex system implementation projects

Skills & Competencies

• Ability to read and understand SQL queries

• Strong system and process documentation skills

• High level of technical literacy across banking systems and applications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including engagement with C-level stakeholders
