We’re currently seeking a Senior Business Intelligence (BI) Business Analyst to join our team and drive intelligent business decisions across the organisation.

🧠 What You’ll Do

As a Senior BI Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions that enable key business decisions. You will collaborate with multiple teams to transform raw data into actionable insights and help shape the future of data and analytics within Old Mutual.

🔑 Key Responsibilities

Data Management & Architecture

• Operate key elements of the data management system and implement data architecture strategies.

• Turn analytics and application data into valuable business insights.

Business Analysis & Requirements Gathering

• Elicit and document complex business requirements using advanced techniques such as workshops, interviews, and workflow analysis.

• Translate business needs into detailed technical data and BI solutions.

Solution Design & Implementation

• Collaborate with stakeholders to design user-friendly dashboards.

• Support the full BI solution life cycle from concept through to implementation and testing.

Data Product Lifecycle Facilitation

• Guide the development and management of data products and reporting catalogues.

• Ensure data products comply with governance standards and regulatory requirements.

Training & Stakeholder Engagement

• Serve as the key liaison between data teams and business stakeholders.

• Deliver training and support for end-users to maximize adoption and utilization.

✅ Qualifications and Experience

• 5+ years of experience in BI, data analysis, or business analysis roles.

• Proven experience working with BI tools like Power BI, AWS QuickSight, etc.

• Strong SQL skills and experience with data lakes, ETL processes, and data mapping.

• Prior experience in finance or banking is highly preferred.

• Relevant Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Big Data, or similar.

• AWS certification will be advantageous.

• Agile project management exposure (Scrum, Kanban, Lean).
