We’re looking for a Senior Technical Clinical Support Specialist to join our South Africa-based team in Johannesburg. In this high-impact, field-based role, you will serve as the clinical and technical expert for our endoscopy product portfolio. You will support healthcare professionals during procedures, drive product adoption, and serve as a trusted partner to both sales and medical teams.

This role is ideal for professionals with a solid background in clinical support, endoscopy procedures, or medical device sales who are excited to work in a fast-paced, travel-intensive environment.

🚀 Key Responsibilities

• Provide on-site and remote clinical support during endoscopic procedures across hospitals and healthcare institutions.

• Troubleshoot and optimize equipment performance to ensure maximum customer confidence and patient safety.

• Partner with sales teams to implement strategic sales plans, influencing product usage through strong clinical knowledge.

• Conduct hands-on training sessions for physicians, nurses, and other medical staff.

• Oversee product demonstrations, installations, and post-sale support to ensure seamless clinical integration.

• Collaborate with internal teams and gather field feedback to inform product development and market positioning.

• Monitor competitor activities and identify new business opportunities in assigned territories.

🎓 Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience in clinical, technical, or sales support—preferably within the endoscopy or medical devices field.

• In-depth understanding of endoscopic procedures and equipment.

• Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to simplify complex information.

• Proven ability to influence and collaborate with sales teams.

• Must be willing to travel up to 80% of the time to support hospitals and clinics.

• A relevant health sciences, biomedical, or clinical technology qualification is advantageous.
