JOB OVERVIEW
The Senior Specialist Communication will provide end-to-end strategic communication support for Sasol’s Business Building, Strategy, and Technology (BBST) portfolio. The role involves translating complex business priorities into compelling narratives for internal and external audiences, leading integrated communication initiatives, and supporting market development, stakeholder engagement, and Sasol’s strategic goals in innovation and sustainable energy solutions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and execute integrated communication strategies aligned with Sasol’s corporate objectives, sustainability initiatives, and energy transition goals.

Translate complex technical and commercial activities into accessible, high-impact messaging for diverse audiences.

Act as primary communication partner for BBST executives and project teams, ensuring alignment and readiness.

Collaborate with functional specialists in Digital, Media, Internal Communication, Brand, Events, and Sponsorships to deliver integrated campaigns.

Produce high-quality multi-channel content, including executive speeches, key messages, business updates, and stakeholder communication.

Support new business commercialisation and market-shaping initiatives, including green hydrogen, SAF, renewable energy, and low-carbon solutions.

Ensure all communication reflects Sasol’s brand and enhances understanding of BBST activities.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
-
3–4 year relevant University Bachelor’s Degree
Experience

9+ years of relevant professional experience in strategic communications, corporate affairs, or related roles
