🛠️ Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Electrical and Electronics Engineer, you will:

• Lead the full design process of Electrical and Electronic building services, especially in data centre projects.

• Translate project requirements into conceptual designs and construction-ready documentation aligned with international and local codes.

• Manage and mentor a small team to ensure design quality and on-time delivery.

• Oversee interdisciplinary collaboration and resolve technical interface challenges.

• Automate routine engineering processes using tools like Dynamo or Python.

• Apply a deep understanding of compliance with South African, Middle Eastern, and Australian standards.

• Represent Zutari in client and technical meetings, delivering clear, confident presentations.

• Maintain oversight of project quality, cost, timeline, scope, risks, and stakeholder engagement.

✅ Minimum Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• BSc/BEng or MSc/MEng in Electrical Engineering.

• Professional registration with a recognised engineering body.

• 5–7+ years of proven experience in electrical design within data centres or the built environment.

• International project exposure is highly advantageous.

• Expertise in electrical building services and electronics systems.

• Uptime Institute certification is a plus.

• Proficiency in Revit, EOM, and electrical simulation tools is highly beneficial.

• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• A collaborative, innovative, and growth-oriented mindset.
